The IGCS Early Career Workshop is a full-day intensive pre-congress program designed to equip emerging gynecologic oncology professionals with the skills, knowledge, and connections essential for a successful academic and clinical career.

The workshop offers a unique blend of expert-led instruction, hands-on learning activities, and peer engagement across two core thematic areas. The program features an in-depth collaboration with the Gynecologic Cancer InterGroup (GCIG).

This event is being held pre-congress to IGCS 2026. The Early Career Network Workshop is included in IGCS 2026 registration, and all delegates are welcome to attend.

Presentation Types

  • Pragmatic Trials with GCIG: An expert-led session introducing early career professionals to the principles and practical considerations of designing pragmatic clinical trials in gynecologic oncology. Learn more here.
  • Abstract Presentations: A platform for early career researchers to present selected original research abstracts, followed by audience discussion and Q&A to encourage exchange and feedback.
  • Peer Review Manuscripts: Interactive discussion on how to conduct a high-quality peer review, combining a short instructional presentation with small-group manuscript review activities, group presentations, and discussion.
