Key Dates:

• October 15, 2025: Embargo release for abstracts submitted during the regular abstract submission period and accepted into the IGCS 2025 scientific program.
• October 29, 2025: Embargo release for title & presenting author names of late-breaking abstracts selected for oral, mini oral, or featured printed poster presentations, as well as seminal abstract titles and full abstract bodies.
• November 5-7, 2025: Embargo release for full late-breaking abstracts.
  *Late-breaking abstract titles and presenter names are released one week before the meeting. Full late-breaking abstracts are released on the morning of their presentation day. 

General Policy
Abstract titles and presenter names of abstracts submitted during the regular submission period and selected for oral, mini oral, and featured surgical film presentations will be visible via the IGCS 2025 interactive program in their designated sessions once the notification process has been completed. Titles of abstracts accepted for featured printed poster presentations are published in the interactive program once their allocation to a specific Poster Rounds session is confirmed (usually 2-3 months before the meeting). Notification and other important abstract submission deadlines are provided via the Abstract Submission & Guidelines page.
The abstract bodies of all abstracts* submitted and accepted for presentation during the regular submission period (e.g. selected for oral, mini oral, featured printed poster (poster rounds), E-Poster, featured surgical film, and on-demand surgical film presentations) will be released on October 15, 2025, on the IGCS 2025 website via the Abstract Publications page. Abstracts will also be visible via the interactive program, except for those accepted as E-Posters and on-demand films. E-Poster and on-demand film information, incl. abstract titles, will not be available before the embargo release on October 15.

Late-Breaking Abstracts
Late-breaking abstracts will be released on the morning of their presentation day. The titles and presenting author names of late-breaking abstracts accepted for oral, mini oral, and featured printed poster presentations will be released via the interactive program on October 29, 2025.

Seminal Abstracts
Titles and full seminal abstracts will be released on October 29, 2025.

*Please note that only abstracts of registered presenting authors are included in the IGCS 2025 scientific program.
